Antenna and Wireless Systems (AWS) Lab 

The Antenna and Wireless Systems (AWS) Lab, led by Dr. Ashwini Kumar Arya at the School of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India, focuses on the design, analysis, and development of advanced antenna technologies and next-generation wireless systems. The laboratory’s research spans compact, low-profile, broadband, and multiband antennas; microstrip antennas; implantable and wearable antennas; metamaterials and electromagnetic structures; microwave engineering; and wireless power transfer systems.

Through fundamental research, simulation-driven design, experimental validation, and interdisciplinary collaboration, the AWS Lab seeks to bridge electromagnetic theory with practical engineering applications. Its broader vision is to develop compact, efficient, and reliable antenna and wireless technologies that address the evolving demands of modern communication, healthcare, transportation, and intelligent connected systems.
