WELCOME TO OUR GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT
The purpose of this site is to provide you with updated information pertaining to academic requirements, important upcoming events & dates, information links, and various other resources.
Each student in JHS 185 has a guidance counselor who serves as a student advocate. Your counselor is available to help you with issues related to your classes, peers, family and your future.
Your counselor is available to meet with you as needed. Some students have mandated counseling or at-risk counseling sessions while others may require occasional counseling.
Guidance also extends its services to provide supportive counseling during stressful and/or challenging times.
