Dear friend,

Life is hard and not so fair to a lot of people, but God hasn’t promised that we won’t suffer in this life, but He has told us that he’ll walk through our valleys with us and He’ll be right by our side, and his grace will be enough. The Bible tells us, “Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” 1 James 5. So, if you trust in God and know who Jesus is and believe that He is the Son of God, you will overcome the problems in this world and have eternal life in heaven with our Father God and Jesus.

The path to salvation is simple. I have also heard it called Roman’s Road…

1.       Romans 3:23 “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”.

-          We all make mistakes and bad decisions that get us in bad situations.

2.       Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the FREE Gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.

-          If you believe and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will receive eternal life.

3.       Romans 10:8-10 “But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART” --- this is, the word of faith which we are preaching. 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”

-          If you call on God (pray) to save you and confess Jesus as your Lord, by faith (believing in Jesus) you will be saved.

4.       Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

-          Your body is meant to be a temple of God, meaning that you should take care of your body. Stay away from drugs, alcohol, abuse, and anything else that can harm your body.

-          Renewing your mind is also something to work on. When bad thoughts enter your mind, turn them to good thoughts. I know this is easier said than done, but with God’s help it can be done.

-          Life can change, if you put in the effort to know Jesus and make a relationship with Him. Be His friend. Talk to Him. Share your life with Him and Jesus will help you.
