What are we doing this week in 6th grade?

January 14th, 2019 - January 18th, 2019

  • Math: 6.NS. A1:Interpret and compute quotients of fractions, including fraction/fractions Test on Wednesday, January 22nd.
    • Accelerated Math: 6.EE.B7: Solve real-world and mathematical problems by writing and solving equations of the form x + p = q and px = q
  • English: RL 6.4 How do authors communicate tone/meaning in a text?
  • Science: ESS 2-1 Develop a model to describe the cycling of Earth's materials and the flow of energy that drives this process.
      • Formative on Friday
      • Summative on Tuesday
  • Social Studies: Always check Google Classroom daily for more specifics and work needed.
      • 2.1.1 Students will explain how elements of culture define specific groups in the global world of the present day and may result in unique perspectives.
        • Culture vocabulary quiz on Wednesday
