What is a school counselor?
A school counselor is a professional with a master’s degree in school counseling or a master’s degree in social work specializing in school counseling. They provide services to ALL students.
Who are Red Oak’s school counselors?
Mrs. Nassano is Red Oak’s full-time school counselor. Her office is located in Red’s main hallway. She strives to make each and every Red Oak student feel valued and loved.
Mrs. Nassano lives with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, and two cat. She loves to read, hike, and sew.
Mr. McClanahan is Red Oak's part-time school counselor; he also serves Brookside Elementary part-time. Mr. McClanahan has two spoiled dogs and loves to listen to audiobooks.
