Teacher Evaluation
Part of your journey as an educator involves evaluation of instruction by a supervisor. While this is a "compliance" part of teaching, it can also be used to foster professional growth. Establishing a relationship with your administrator can set the stage for observations that are growth focused instead of measurement focused.
Jerome School District uses the Charlotte Danielson "Framework for Teaching" for observations, and evaluations are based on the rubrics in that framework. This part of your overall evaluation is referred to as "Professional Practice" and comprises 67% of your overall evaluation "score."
