ACCESS for ELLs (English Language Learners) is a computer-based, adaptive test that responds to student performance and may be administered in group or individual settings. This assessment is given every year to students in Grades K-12. The purpose is to test students' proficiency in English language in four domains: Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing.
Tests for the domains of Listening, Reading and Writing will be given in ESL or English classes if you the student is enrolled in one of these courses. If not, they will be tested during the school day by the testing coordinator. The Speaking test will be given by the testing coordinator in small groups during the school day.
