In two weeks, we will be having a fun week to celebrate literacy and will be doing some fun activities each day related to different children’s books. Each day will have a dress-up activity tied to the book. Your child will be doing some activities during the day related to the book of the day as well. Below is a schedule of the dress up days we will have school-wide.

Monday, February 28th: Bad or Silly Hair Day

Tuesday, March 1st: Hat Day (it can be the Seuss hat or another hat)

Wednesday, March 2nd: Dress to impress (it is school picture day today)

Thursday, March 3rd: Wear PJs to School

Friday, March 4th: Dress as your favorite book character and have a character parade in the school.

* Make a sign with your character’s name and the name of the book to carry with you so everyone knows who you’re dressed up as.

** Please make sure all clothing is school appropriate. It is not required to do the dress-up days, but a school uniform is required if the child does not participate in the dress-up day.
