Defensive Backs Coach
Bio
Coach Drew enters his third season as the Defensive Backs Coach at DuBois High School.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Coach Drew was a standout multi-sport athlete, competing in both football and track & field. As a sprinter, he specialized in the 200-meter and 400-meter events. Following an outstanding high school football career, he graduated in 2011 as the No. 1 ranked cornerback in South Florida, a Top 10 cornerback in the state of Florida, and the No. 275 overall prospect in the nation according to ESPN recruiting rankings.
Coach Drew continued his football career at the University of Louisville, where he was a four-year starter from 2011–2014. During his time with the Cardinals, he helped lead the program to one of the greatest victories in school history—a Sugar Bowl win over the Florida Gators. In that game, he recorded an interception and five tackles, playing a key role in the championship performance.
During his collegiate career, Coach Drew was also a back-to-back Big East Conference Champion and was part of the program's rise to national prominence. He graduated from the University of Louisville with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
Coach Drew brings high-level playing experience, a passion for developing student-athletes, and a commitment to excellence as he continues to mentor the next generation of DuBois defensive backs.
