My name is Deonte Clyburn your Defensive Coordinator born and raised here in Louisville, Ky. After graduating from St.Xavier HS in 2013, I was granted a scholarship to play football for Colorado State University from 2013 until 2015 after being sidelined with blood clots. From then on until 2017 I was Graduate Assistant Coach for the linebackers at the University. 

After having my first kid I moved from CO back home to coach the varsity Linebackers at St. Xavier Highschool From 2019 to 2020, after that year I was the defensive coordinator and ILBs coach for the freshman team from 2021-2023 at St.Xavier Highschool.

From 2023 until now I have served as the Defensive coordinator for the W.E.B Dubois Lions! With much pride and diligence the lions defense has gotten better each year under our great staff. For the future we plan to stay committed and steadfast in our goals, creating a championship level defense.
