Graduation Class of 2021

The 2021 graduation ceremonies for Jefferson County Public Schools were unlike any in JCPS history. These were the first graduation ceremonies held during a pandemic. All of them were held outside at football stadiums. Many schools had multiple ceremonies to restrict the number of seniors and families to meet social distancing guidelines. For students who continued in virtual learning the entire 2020-21 school year, it was the first time to see most of their classmates, in person, in more than a year. Most high schools also had a ceremony for 2020 graduates to be recognized and walk across the stage, something they didn’t get to do during the COVID-restricted virtual graduation ceremonies last year. It was an unforgettable few days of light rain, pent-up emotion, relief, sunshine and celebration that, we hope, is captured in these photos and videos. Congratulations JCPS Class of 2021!
