Witt PARTners

Our Mission:

"We are a volunteer organization made up of parents and staff members. Our purpose is to bridge parents, staff, students, and community into a common working unit, to ensure the best possible education and learning environment for our children."

Partners or "Parent Teacher Network for Education Resources and Support," is a group of parents and staff members that strive to create ways to further support the education of all students at Witt Elementary. Once a month, PARTners will hold a meeting in the Witt Elementary Library at 4:00p.m.

***Childcare will be provided for all meetings by Mrs. Coupens and one or more High school Students in the Witt Gymnasium.***

Supporting our students truly takes a village. It involves everyone coming together to help make a positive difference in their lives. Whether that difference is made by holding a fundraiser that purchases materials to fully support education, or by volunteering in classrooms to support the teachers it makes a difference...a positive one! We thank you all for your support.

2017-2018 FUND RUN Results

We held our FUND Run on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. We are so grateful for our students, their families, and our community members. With everyone’s participation, we were able to raise a grand total of $11,700.00! With these funds we were able to purchase a total of 28 robotics kits (these were delivered to our school on Wednesday, October 25, 2017). There are two different varieties of these kits so every student will get to experience the engineering processes as they build them through hands-on experience. We are so excited that we can provide these hands-on STEM experiences for our students.

We want to give EVERYONE a heartfelt thank you. We truly appreciate your participation during our FUND Run. It was so encouraging to see our students, families and staff running together to support our school and community. As the world continues to grow and change, it is nice to know that we can stand together and weather it all as a unit! We hope our community found the FUND Run experience to be student-centered and welcoming! Our online donation process allowed us to reach our goal quicker than expected and helped us reach out to those that are often too far to attend in person.

Raise $5- Wear a hat to school: Wednesday, December 20, 2017

Raise $25- Break the Rules pass: Tuesday, December 19, 2017

Raise $75- T-shirt: Order will be in before Christmas Break- Delivery to Students TBD

*The Highest Earning classroom in Grades k-2 and 3-6 will each have a PJ Day with extra choice time: Winners were Mrs. Grahams 3rd Grade Class and Mrs. Hays' Kindergarten Class. These teachers will send out dates for those redemption.

*The overall top earner for the school will receive a 6 month pass to Westminster Recreation Center: The winner was Anthony Janowsky, prize was handed out on Monday, October 23rd.

*For the students raised $75 or more, their names were put in a hat and drawn by Mrs. McDougal to have lunch with Mr. Watts: Braden Smith, Derek Hutcheson, Hannah Rose, and Stevie Slosser enjoyed Panera with Mr. Watts on Tuesday, November 7th.

*We did not meet our 80% or 90% goals so those prizes were void, but we are ever hopeful that we will still get to see Mrs. McDougal kiss a farm animal!
