About Me

This is my first year teaching at Westridge and I am over the moon to be part of this incredible staff and community! I love helping students discover worldly and personal connections to music and the importance of music in their lives. It is such a joy creating music with them!

I am a Colorado native and grew up in Old Littleton. I attended the University of Northern Colorado where I received my Bachelors of Music Education with an emphasis in voice. After graduation, I substitute taught in Littleton Public Schools for two years, covering everything from long-term kindergarten to high school chemistry. While substitute teaching, I received my Elementary Education endorsement. My first teaching job was at Parmalee Elementary in Jeffco. Being a part-time job, I spent a year in Indian Hills and am so thankful for the full-time position here at Westridge!

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. Both of my parents are teachers; my mom is an elementary music teacher and it's fun being able to share experiences with her. My two younger siblings are in the final stages of becoming teachers; teaching definitely runs in the family! I love crafting and playing in the two handbell choirs at my church. I am a championship-level Irish dancer and enjoy training and competing with my sister.
