Mrs. Kara Schroeder

This is my 5th year as a SELS in JeffCo and my 2nd year here at Vanderhoof. I have a degree in Social Work. I love working with students!

I am married and have 3 boys. They are in 2nd, 7th, and 10th grade this year. We also have a large puppy that joined our family in 2020.

I love to spend time outside: hiking, skiing, kayaking, and working in my yard. When I’m inside I like to read and watching football. My favorite colors are orange and blue (Go Broncos). I love nuts, dark chocolate, pizza, and Mexican food.
