Magic Science Saturday at Majestic View Nature Center

Is it magic or is it science? Find out by dabbling in some hands on science where you could see exploding soda, magic painting dry ice brains, and flaming milk jugs to name a few-come and be amazed.

LIVE Animal Meet & Greet

Get up close and personal with a furry friend from the Downtown Aquarium as you learn all about them and their adaptations. Watch a training session or touch these animals as you learn more about them with the Downtown Aquarium.

Some of your favorite fantastical beasts from popular books and movies are real life creatures! During this exciting program, expert magizoologists introduce you to live raptors, reptiles, insects, arachnids and amphibians that inspire the stories. Learn about their role in the plots, but also their habitat, diet, and natural history.

Festival of Scarecrows

22nd annual Festival of Scarecrows is free family fall fun! Festival features a scarecrow contest, giant pumpkin contest, hay rides, cone (corn) maze, pumpkin sales and painting, DJ, kids parade and booths.

The event takes place in Olde Town Square, 57th and Olde Wadsworth. Scarecrows will be placed around Olde Town for judging.

Story time and crafts in the library too!

Please bring a non-perishable can of food for donation for the cone maze and hay rides to benefit the food bank at The Rising Church.

Pumpkin sales benefit Ralston House.
