Monologues come in different levels based on how hard they are and how many words they have. 

• For ensemble roles, memorize one of the minor monologue pieces. 

• If you're aiming for a smaller part, go for one in the mid range. 

• If you want a big part in the show, pick an advanced monologue (and make sure it's not one you've used before). 

You can also pick your own monologue, but it should really show off what you can do!
