ABOUT MR. SHACKETT
A James Madison Memorial Fellow. All graduate degree/coursework funded by the 107th United States Congress.
25 years in the classroom as a high school teacher of AP American Government, AP US History, Government & US History. I also serve as a Professional Development Specialist for The Bill of Rights Institute in Washington, D.C., where I write nationally-distributed curriculum pertaining to America's Founding period, documents and ideas, conduct content-oriented teacher professional development programs around the nation, and annually help deliver the Institute's Constitutional Academy, a high school undergraduate course held at Marymount University in Arlington, VA.
Hold Bachelors/Masters degrees in Political Science, History & Education from Drake University (Des Moines, IA). Additional graduate coursework completed at both Georgetown University (Washington, D.C.) and Stanford University (Palo Alto, CA).
