Kristin Miesel, Ph.D., NCSP

School Psychologist

It's hard to believe that this is my 13th year as the mental health provider for Ryan Elementary! I'm grateful everyday to serve as a social-emotional resource for your amazing children and families. Please spend some time looking through the pages on our site. I've included information on Ryan's systemic social-emotional practices as well as resources that I often share with families and use at home myself.

When I'm not at Ryan, I spend time with my beautiful family. I have a daughter in 2nd grade and a son in preschool. Together, we enjoy going on family adventures that vary from trips to museums, to cross-country train rides, to just trying to get out of the house on time! My family and your children are my greatest teachers.

I'm a phone call or email away. Don't hesitate to reach out!

Marisa Marinac

Social Emotional Learning Specialist

I have been a counselor in Jeffco for 14 years, most recently at Mandalay Middle for eight years. This year I will be at Ryan on Tuesdays, providing social emotional content and support and helping students overcome obstacles to being successful in school and in life. I look forward to getting to becoming a part of the Ryan community!

I have three kids of my own and just became a grandmother in 2017. I love nature, photography, dancing, writing, and traveling. You can often find me and my husband on a lake in our canoe or cross country skiing through this wonderful state we live in.

Miranda Harris

School Psychologist Intern

Hello! I am very excited to begin my year at Ryan and to serve the community of students, teachers, and families that make the school such a special place. I am a graduate student at Northeastern University in Boston and am pursuing my degree in school psychology and applied behavior analysis. I decided to complete my internship in Colorado so that I could be closer to my family. Before beginning my graduate studies, I worked as an elementary school teacher for six years in several districts in Colorado and Massachusetts.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, traveling, yoga, cooking, and creating handmade cards for my lettering business. This year, I will be at Ryan on Mondays and Thursdays--if you're in the building, stop by and say hello! I'd love to meet you.
