I started at MPA in January of 2017. I have worked in a few schools helping out in local band programs. I enjoy helping students learn and love being a part of the school community.

I have my Bachelor's in Clarinet Performance with a Minor in Business and a Master's in Music Composition both from DU. Being so involved in music, I enjoy writing and arranging music, as well as performing. My most exciting and memorable performance was playing at Red Rocks!

I met my husband, Joe in high school when my family moved to Colorado from Texas. We were best friends throughout high school and we started dating during college. He proposed on the mountain of Winter Park during grad school, and we got married after graduation. We welcomed our first born in 2018. Being a family of 'J's, we named him Jasper, since we also have a dog named Jersey, and a cat appropriately named Cat.
