Students should review their schedule with their parents and contact their counselor by email only if there is a mistake (duplicate classes, missing classes, or other errors). Conifer High School is one of the smaller high schools in Jefferson County and we provide a comprehensive course offering with over 40+ singleton courses. Please understand that counselors are not able to make schedule changes, only course corrections.

Any student requesting a schedule correction, the master schedule is created to accommodate students’ course requests made during registration last spring. Faculty members are employed, textbooks are purchased, and rooms are assigned on the basis of these requests. A schedule adjustment will only be honored if the student has an incorrect course and had submitted a form to the counseling office. You may list one requested change only. We will attempt to make your requested change and if we are able to do so, you will see it reflected on your schedule. If a schedule change is not possible, you will have to follow your existing schedule.
Conifer has a schedule change policy which states that only changes for “an academic compelling reason” will be allowed. Examples of academic compelling reasons are listed below.
Allowable Schedule Changes:
1. The student has a class that was not requested on their registration form.
2. A student needs a specific class to graduate or as a prerequisite.
3. The student is in the wrong level class or in a class without the proper prerequisite.
4. The student’s schedule is incomplete.
5. To maintain the integrity of the master schedule, we can move students from a larger class into a smaller class but NOT the other way.
NOTE: Any request to drop an Advanced Placement or Honors Course must be discussed with your counselor, then a 'Request to Drop an Advanced Placement / Honors Course' form filled out, signed by your parents and then approved by the administrator who is the liason for that department.
Registration for 2022 FALL Sports is open now.
