I have been a classroom teacher since 2003. From a young age I knew I wanted to be a teacher and give back to the community. I earned my bachelor's from The Colorado State University in 2002. I finished a master’s degree program at University of Colorado at Denver. I have been a part of many new initiatives in the realm of education, as well as participating in research in the field of teaching science. No matter the discipline, the focus of my classes are my students. I do this by creating a classroom environment where students are comfortable to take risks, collaborate, and grow; along the way practicing thinking and acting like a scientist. I am married and the proud father of two not-so-small children. In my spare time, I dedicate myself to coaching the BCHS Boys Lacrosse team. I am very happy to be a part of the staff of Bear Creek High School.
