Week of September 30th updates

Reminder that this Thursday, Oct. 3rd there is no practice.  

Track fees will be in your account this week.  The fee will be an $18.

For next week, we will have to move practice from Thursday 10/10 to Wednesday 10/9.  Tuesday is as scheduled. Please let me know if your student cannot make it.

Just a reminder, that on the day of the track meet, ALL students will need to be picked up from the stadium.  There is no bus ride back to the school.

Practice Schedule:  Every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 2:35pm - 3:35pm at the soccer field after school. First practice is Tuesday, 9/17.

No Practice Thursday, Oct. 3.

FAQ

How much does it cost?  We will have an estimated cost the week of 9/23-9/27

Do we need a jersey?  Everyone will need a matching jersey.  Shirt orders will go out soon.

Where is the event? Jeffco stadium on Oct. 15.  Starting time is 10am.  Jeffco stadium is located off of Kipling and 6th ave.

What if my child is in other extracurricular activities that occur on Tuesday or Thursday?  We will work with them.  Make sure they go to their other extracurricular on that day.  Just let us know what day they will be missing.  

2024 Track

Hello Leawood Family,

We will be competing in our yearly track event, The South Jeffco Invitational.  We need students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade to compete in several events that we will be doing throughout the day.  If your student is interested, please fill out the interest form by the end of the week. The event will be on Oct 15, 2024 from 10:30 - 3pm.  We could end earlier this is just an estimation at the latest. I will let you know the cost within the next week.

Please keep in mind that not all events are guaranteed for your student to compete in.  As we try to get them all at least one or two events.

If your student is in any other extracurricular activities that take place within the school on one of those days, please let me know. We can always work with your student.
