Lakewood Girls Golf is a CHSAA 5A Spring sport and runs from late February to late May.

If you want to try out for the team, please consider the following information:

• The first day of practice is February 23rd.

• We separate the golfers into three teams: Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Developmental. 

• Tournament golf is a fabulous way to improve, and thus, we encourage all golfers to play as much competitive golf as possible during the summer and fall.

• Golfers practice after school Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM and play in tournaments throughout the season, most of which are during school. 

• Golf is a sport that costs more than the $185 athletic fee due to the nature of golf. As a result, our team fee varies from year to year.

• Athletes may receive a Lakewood "Letter" for a letter jacket by participating in this sport, completing all the lettering requirements set by Jefferson County, and at the coach's discretion.

• All golfers must maintain their grades to remain eligible.
