Hello! I'm Mr. Prismon

Music teacher for my 4th year at Jefferson Jr. Sr. High School. The classes that we offer currently for music include: MS Band, HS Band, MS Orchestra, HS Orchestra, Guitar, and Percussion Ensemble.

I believe that music inspires us to be better people with rich understandings of the world through experience, empathy and discipline. We strive to give our students the opportunity to find their voice in music and share it with the world.

Before joining the Jefferson community, I worked for 4 years at Faith Christian Academy as a general music teacher k-3, instrumental director for 4-8 and choral director 4-5. I earned my Bachelors of Music Education from Metropolitan State University in 2011.

I'm married and just had my incredible daughter Cadence last summer (pictured to the left). I love singing, playing guitar, and hanging out with my family.
