My name is Brandy Gulliford. I earned my Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and my Master's in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida. I also have a Bachelor's of Science with Honors from the University of Florida in the field of Exercise Science. I have been a primary teacher (grades Kindergarten through 2nd) since 2001. The 2019-2020 school year will be my 13th year at Parmalee. I am certified in Elementary Education, Gifted and Talented Education, and Linguistically Diverse Education. Like all classroom teachers at Parmalee, I have been trained by IMSE (Institute for Multi-Sensory Education) in the use of the Orton-Gillingham method. I am also certified by the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI). In previous years I have been Parmalee's Teacher of the Year and Teacher of the Year for the radio station KBCO 97.3.
