The Westminster Chamber of Commerce has been serving businesses in Westminster since 2013. Our goal is to continuously improve the business climate and build opportunities for growth in Westminster and surrounding areas. We accomplish this through programs focused on advocacy, economic development, events, and direct services to our members.
We strive to be more than just a business organization. We recognize that business is only as healthy and prosperous as the surrounding community. To that end, we have special programs and memberships to support non-profits, schools and the young in our neighborhoods.
We provide a family membership to not only give special discounts and events to the residents of the area, but also to provide valuable information about what is happening in the businesses, charities, and governments of the community. It is these programs that we feel make the Westminster Chamber of Commerce stand out from other business organizations.

Internship Description:
Interns assist with our large scale community events as well as supporting our day to day operations. This varies from season to season and could include: attending business educational/networking events; assisting at other large events; helping with the behind-the-scenes prep for events; putting together flyers; passing out posters; doing research; and many other tasks as assigned.
Internship Format:
Hybrid (both remote and in-person)
Hours of Operation:
Typical office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. However, we have weekend events throughout the year.
Required or Recommended Skills:
Strong communication skills; basic business knowledge and community knowledge.
