Associate Professor Andrew Petruska - M3Robotics lab is a collegiate research lab researching the control of complex systems terrestrially, on orbit, and on the moon. Current projects the students can contribute to span from smart sensing systems to enhance safety in underground environments, to on-orbit recycling of debris, to lunar landing site preparation systems. Internship Description:
The intern will be paired with a graduate student mentor and be tasked with an engineering or computer-science problem that is aligned with their interests and experiences. They will be responsible for learning and executing the assignment as an integral member of a larger team. They will also have the opportunity to visit other laboratories on campus and see a wide range of research going on here at Mines.

Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Required or Recommended Skills:
Background in 3D modeling/printing or Python (programming) is helpful but the only requirement is a strong desire to learn and meaningfully contribute.
