40 West Arts is a nonprofit, state-certified creative arts district along Lakewood’s historic West Colfax Avenue with the mission of energizing and promoting the arts district through extraordinary experiences, exhibitions, and events that engage the whole family.
West Colfax Avenue is home to the most unique and creative businesses in Lakewood, including art galleries, boutiques, breweries, music and record stores, dance and arts studios, eateries, bakeries, and coffee shops. 40 West Arts was formed as a 501c3 nonprofit arts organization to help build a local arts district in Lakewood and celebrate the energy and inspiration of creativity.
