English Language Arts

Welcome to middle school English Language Arts!  I was born and raised in Colorado and have been fortunate to have spent the last 13 years working at Foster (15 years in Jeffco). I have taught every grade from 2nd-8th grade as well as middle school Social Studies and Spanish Languages Arts. I spent the last 9 years teaching at least half-time in Spanish. I have my undergrad in Modern Languages (Spanish) and a Masters in ESL and Bilingual Education.  In addition to my role as the English Language Arts teacher, I am also the middle school lead in charge of scheduling and making sure things moves smoothly. When I'm not teaching I love spending time with my family, curling up with a good book, drinking lots of COFFEE and traveling. 

Bienvenidos a Artes de lenguje inglés de la escuela intermedia. Nací y crecí en Colorado y tuve la suerte de haber trabajado los últimos 13 años en Foster (15 años en Jeffco). He enseñado todos los grados desde el segundo hasta el octavo grado, así como Estudios Sociales y Artes del Lenguaje Español en la escuela intermedia. Pasé los últimos 9 años enseñando al menos medio tiempo en español. Tengo mi licenciatura en Idiomas Modernos (español) y una Maestría en ESL y Educación Bilingüe. Además de mi trabajo como maestra de artes de lenguje inglés, también soy la líder de la escuela intermedia a cargo de programar y asegurarme de que todo funcione sin problemas. Cuando no estoy enseñando, me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia, acurrucarme con un buen libro, tomar mucho CAFÉ y viajar.
