Teacher Bio

Welcome to 6th Grade! I'm Mrs. McDonough. This is my 1st year at D'Evelyn and 12th year teaching. Before teaching, I worked in the publishing industry for a company producing outdoor guidebooks. As an undergraduate, I studied English and history at William and Mary and received my M.A. in Publishing Studies at City University in London. 

In my free time, I love to read. During the summer, you will usually find me and my husband hiking, kayaking, or traveling to visit family, attend literary festivals, or go long-distance hiking. In the winter, I love to ski. I have an Ikon Pass and put it to good use.
