EHS WEEKLY MESSENGER

April 24th, 2022

NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS

Teacher Appreciation

We love our teachers and staff at EHS, and once a year we spend a week showing them just how much we appreciate all they do for our students. Each year, we survey the staff to determine what items they need the most. Then we make gift bags for every member of our amazing staff. But we can't do it without your help. You can sign up to write thank you cards (which our teachers rave about every year), or to purchase food or goodie bag gift cards on our sign-up genius page. Or, if you prefer, you can go to the PTSA Teacher Appreciation Donation Page to make a monetary donation in lieu of donating specific items. Donations will go to purchasing items that we don't collect through the sign-up genius, and to pay for a coffee cart, lunch, and massages for all of our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Thank You - EHS PTSA

Host Families Needed

Would you and your family like to experience first hand the richness and diversity of a culture different then your own? Would you like to do your part in promoting world peace? Evergreen Rotary is currently recruiting three host families from the Evergreen Community to host a high school foreign exchange student for approximately three months of the 22-23 school year. Hosting a foreign exchange student with a short term commitment can be extremely rewarding! Everyday routine becomes lively as we share our holiday's, weekends and our culture with a foreign student and they share their culture with us. Life long friendships are developed! If you are interested in this awesome opportunity please contact:

Scott White, Youth Exchange Officer for Evergreen Rotary at scott@denvermachine.com or on his phone at 303-503-3882.

Every few years, the dates change in order to create equal opportunity across the district. Due to the later date, applications will not be available until early fall 2022.
