Prom 2022 is almost here and the Student Senate could not be more excited to celebrate our amazing juniors and seniors! Prom will be held at the beautiful La Baldoria in Lakewood on April 30th from 7-10 pm. La Baldoria is located at 146 Van Gordon St, Lakewood, CO 80228. Masks are not required. Prom will feature a plethora of activities including a DJ, mocktails, desserts, appetizers, lawn games, and casino tables! The casino tables will include Texas holdem, blackjack, and roulette. The top three students with the most chips at the end of the night will win some amazing prizes.
Prom tickets will be live for purchase online via Infinite Campus starting this Monday, April 11th. You can purchase tickets on Infinite Campus from April 11th until noon on April 29th. Just click on the Prom 2022 icon on our school website and it will take you to the purchasing site. Tickets are $60 for a single and $115 for a couple. Make sure to purchase them before the day of prom because they jump up to $120 per ticket at the door. IMPORTANT: Non-EHS guests CANNOT buy tickets at the door. Only EHS seniors and juniors can purchase their own ticket the day of prom.
Students can also buy tickets during lunches the week of prom from April 25th to the 29th. These tickets will be sold in the front of the school next to the security desk. The EHS guest form is also live on the school’s website and must be completed if your son or daughter plans to bring someone from another high school. PLEASE NOTE: A hard copy of the guest form must be printed, filled out, and turned into the front office by 2:30 on Wednesday, APRIL 27th. These guest form policies are made at the district level and are a requirement for all school dances.
The first round of prom royalty voting will be held on April 19th during homeroom. Only seniors will be participating in this vote. The court will consist of the top 8 most nominated seniors, and the final round of voting will take place at prom. Winners will be announced around 8:30.
Please contact the Senate sponsors, Ms. Lavin (KLavin@Jeffcoschools.us) or Ms. Neumann (jneumann@jeffcoschools.us), with any questions!
We can’t wait to see you all there! Let’s celebrate in style, cougars!

We love our teachers and staff at EHS, and once a year we spend a week showing them just how much we appreciate all they do for our students. Each year, we survey the staff to determine what items they need the most. Then we make gift bags for every member of our amazing staff. But we can't do it without your help. Look for a sign-up genius in the upcoming weeks with specific items that we will be donating to our staff. Or, if you prefer, you can go to the PTSA Teacher Appreciation Donation Page to make a monetary donation in lieu of donating specific items. Donations will go to purchasing items that we don't collect through the sign-up genius, and to pay for a coffee cart, lunch, and massages for all of our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Jack Morman and his curling team competed in the U18 National Curling Championships from March 31st to April 3rd in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They competed against teams from Across the Country. This was the team's first time at nationals, and although we did not win any medals, we put up a difficult fight against the very best.
Three of their games came down to the very last shot, two of which were in overtime, losing only to the Wisconsin State Champions and the highest ranked team from the Dakotas. They hope to qualify again, and if they continue improving at their current rate, they have a very real potential to take a medal.
Reminder: NO SCHOOL for students Friday, April 22nd | Teacher Work Day
