1. Label each of the 50 states, the capitals of each state, and give the abbreviation for each state.

2. Color the original 13 colonies blue.

3. Color the states purchased in the Louisiana Purchase yellow (be sure just to color the parts of the states that were in the purchase).

4. Leave the rest labeled and color it one color.

5. Make a key!
