Mr. McGuire is passionate about life-long learning – as my grandmother told me, “learn to do many things and you'll always be able to work.” She grew up during the great depression and I, of course, followed her sound advice! I’ve worked as an office furniture installer, Project Manager, Carpenter, Web Developer, Electrician, Volunteer Firefighter, and now I will be entering my 17th year in teaching. Teaching is by far the best and most enjoyable job I’ve done. I do not consider it a job but rather my vocation. I was fortunate to begin my teaching career here when my son started as an Elk Creek Eagle in Mrs. Marinaro's kindergarten class. He is now in his last year at CMU. I am grateful to be here once again- it truly is a remarkable place to learn!
