About Mr. Cox

Mr. Cox grew up in Oregon and Washington. He attended McMinnville High School in McMinnville, Oregon. He graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Soil Science. Other degrees included an M.A. in Old Testament from Denver Seminary, Colorado Teaching Certificate from Regis University, an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado Christian University. He has also taken classes at Clark Community College in Vancouver, WA, University of Kansas, University of Colorado, and Colorado School of Mines.

Before becoming a science teacher Mr. Cox worked in the U.S. Forest Service as well as in ministry. He has taught at Vienna Christian School in Austria, Bear Creek H.S., Arvada West H.S., and Green Mountain H.S. He has remained at CSH for 19 years.

His wife is a teacher-librarian in Jeffco. Mr. and Mrs. Cox hike extensively in Rocky Mountain National Park...when they can't be on a Caribbean Beach. They have two daughters, one born in Germany and the other in Austria; both are CU grads.
