Hi there! I am entering my 10th year in the world of school mental health and 12th year in Jeffco Public Schools. Before becoming a Social and Emotional Learning Specialist in the 2019/20 school year, I was a school counselor for six years. I so enjoy working at the middle school level, as I feel it's such an important time in a child's life. I am dedicated to creating lessons, opportunities, and experiences to develop your child's social and emotional health.

Welcome! I am entering my 20th year in the middle school environment and my 17th year at Carmody Middle School in Jeffco Public Schools. I have been working with at-promise middle school students for all of my 20 years in education and they truly have my heart. I received my certification in Social Emotional Learning and Character Development last year from Rutgers as well as playing a role on our Carmody Middle School SEL team. I truly embrace that all students can learn and be successful no matter their circumstances and am so fortunate to be able to support our community of students, staff, and families. I bring a passion for championing for all stakeholders involved to assure a positive experience for our students.

Howdy, folks! My name is Emily Hahn and I am one of the school counselors at Carmody. I believe that each and every one of our students has something special to offer the world. One of my favorite things about being a counselor is supporting students in discovering their strengths and passions in life!
