I grew up as a farm girl in North Dakota surrounded by wheat fields, many different types of animals, six siblings and a community of neighbors who watched out for each other and lent a hand whenever needed. I graduated from high school with the same ten students (friends) I started with in first grade, three of whom were my cousins. After graduating in 1978 from a small university, I began my first year of an eventual 31-year teaching career in Grand Forks, ND. Upon learning that my son and daughter-in-law were expecting a baby, I moved from the prairie to the Rockies, and am blessed to spend so much time with my grandson Mack. I am also honored to be part of the staff at CLC working with your children!
