WHY THIS TEXT?

In this “tall tale” drama, students should be able to visualize the narrators and characters playing parts, as well as the setting in which the tale is being told. Additionally, students will identify elements of drama, such as dialogue and acts/scenes, and explore how they, along with figurative language, can influence the plot and the author’s purpose.
