WHY THIS TEXT?

This stage adaption of a classic Italian fairy tale will provide an opportunity for students to retell/summarize the events in the story. They will learn to identify characters, dialogue, setting, and acts/scenes in a drama. In addition, students will identify the theme and understand how it is different from a topic.
