Social Worker

Ms. Clark

I am excited for my second year as the School Social Worker at Prospect Valley Elementary. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver in 2017 with a concentration in Children and Youth. My interest to become a school social worker stemmed from my previous job as a middle school teacher when I taught 6th-8th grade math in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In my role as a teacher, I discovered the various challenges students and families face which interfere with their ability to receive an excellent education. I love the work I have the opportunity to do each day to help students and families eliminate these barriers and to feel more successful.

I was born and raised in Ohio where I lived for the majority of my life. I attended The University of Toledo from which I earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, reading, and traveling to visit family and friends.
