Hello! My name is Andrea Trautman and I am a passionate educator of thirteen plus years.

My time as an educator began in Tegucigalpa, Honduras teaching fourth grade at an international school. After this I was a reading support teacher in Escondido, CA. Then, a second grade teacher in San Jose, CA and then Oakland, CA. From Oakland, I moved south and became a third grade teacher in Chula Vista, CA and currently I work as a reading interventionist in Jamul, CA. Within these roles I have served as a curricular coach, on instructional leadership teams and as a site literacy lead. My enthusiasm for learning and designing learning experiences for all ages leads me to continually grow my ability to design meaningfully and equitably for all of whom I have the opportunity to serve.

When I am not geeking out on education I love being outside, going on new adventures and meeting new people. My favorite people to explore with are my husband, my dog and my nephews.
