Regular and punctual attendance is essential if students are to receive the maximum benefits from our instructional program. We love seeing your children at school, so please make an effort to be here ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! Our instructional day begins at 7:40 A.M. Any students who arrive after that time need to be accompanied to the office and signed in by a parent or guardian. School dismisses at 2:35 P.M.

Summer Reading Challenge 

Returning families, we hope your students have enjoyed participating in our JCSS Summer Reading Challenge. Turn in your completed forms by August 11th to the media center or your teacher will deliver them for you. Students who participated in the summer reading challenge will have a fun prize very soon!

Birthdays

Parents can bring a purchased sealed treat for your child's birthday. No balloons or flowers as these are not allowed on the bus.  You can drop the special treat off at the front office, the teacher will distribute it at a time that works in the class schedule.

Visit Linq Connect to add money to your child's meal accounts or to complete the online application to for free or reduced-price meals. 

At full price for the 2025-26 School Year:

• Breakfast costs $1.50 in the elementary schools and $1.75 in the middle and high schools.

• Lunch costs $2.25 in the elementary schools and $2.75 in the middle and high schools.
