November-December - County competitions determine winners

December 9-13, 2024 - Regional Registration Open

January 24, 2026: Regional Georgia Student Technology Competition

There is only 1 winner per category, per grade band that moves on from the school level to district level and then on to the state level.

Students MUST document any work they did not create. In many cases, they will also need to receive permission and show documentation. See this video for more information.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Students may not "switch" categories. The project will ONLY be judged in the category in which it won first place at the regional fair. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Tri-board displays are not allowed at the competition in any categories.

Students unable to present their projects, even due to illness, may NOT use "proxies." Only students that are part of the original, registered team may represent a project at the Tech Fair.

While we recognize that the world is more connected than ever, we cannot guarantee Internet access in the judging spaces and recommend that you have an off-line copy of any Internet based project. Judges will not penalize a project for not connecting to outside links.
