We've declared Monday DAWG DAY at GSES! The Georgia Bulldogs are hoping to claim a back-to-back National Championship title in their biggest game of the season on Monday night, and we want to show our support to the home team! Be sure to send your kids to school in RED and BLACK on Monday if you're cheering for a Dawg victory!
Pre-K Registration for the 2023-24 school year is rapidly approaching. The Jackson County School System is proud to be a part of the Georgia Lottery Pre-K Program. Applications will be accepted Feb. 1 — Feb. 28 at the child's zoned school, and the lottery drawing will be held Tuesday, March 14. For more information, go to https://www.jacksonschoolsga.org/prek.
Don't forget to register for the Bookin' It for Backer 5K and Blood Drive in honor of P.E. Coach Heather Backer!
You can register for the race and pay your entry fee at https://www.schoolpay.com/link/Bookin-It-for-Backer. If you are a business or family who would be willing to donate $500 or more to offset costs as an event sponsor, please complete the online Sponsorship Form at tinyurl.com/BackerSponsorship.

Music Teacher Ms. Jackie Cooper and her team of staff volunteers have begun rehearsals for this year's spring musical performance of Disney's Aladdin Kids. They always put on an AMAZING show, and we're sure this year's production will be no different. Plan to join us for one of their evening performances on April 27, 2023. As the new year kicked off this week, many students set goals for what they want to accomplish before the end of the school year.
