The First Ignatian Day of 2018-2019

Welcome to the first Ignatian Day of 2018-2019

At graduation, the Jesuit student has come to value the ideal of a sound mind in a sound body (Profile of the Grad at Graduation). This semester, a group of faculty from various departments worked together to create this Ignatian Day experience.

We ask families to explore and share what a balanced life means for us as individuals and for our various communities with whom we interact. Through the study of maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle, this iDay challenges us to consider the effects individual balance may have on our communal responsibilities.

The final step of this Ignatian day includes the following: after participating in the iDay experience, parents and students create their own wellness goal. Students are also expected to share their wellness goals in their English classes as part of a graded assignment.

PLEASE NOTE: All videos will load directly in the page on a PC/Mac. On an iPad or Phone, they will ask you to download them or open them in a new window to watch and will work best in Chrome over Safari.
