The Educational Foundation for Columbia Schools administers scholarships for qualified Columbia Central High School Seniors for the Steinhoff, Neely, Horning, Kennedy, Sitarz, VanWinkle, Knickerbocker, Swain, Rychener, Elrod, Rothfuss and other family scholarships . The Foundation also raises money to provide scholarships.

          Many of the scholarships will be awarded on the basis of proven academic performance, leadership and service in extracurricular school and community activities along with talents and accomplishments in one or more specific fields of endeavor. However, any student with a 2.0 grade point average or above is eligible and welcome to apply.  Some scholarships are specifically for late bloomers.
