Japan Fiesta Volunteer Registration Information

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help out with Japan Fiesta EX 2023.

Volunteer requirements:

Must be 16+ or have parent/guardian permission.

A fully charged mobile phone is required to communicate with committee members and volunteer leaders.

On the day of the event, please wear comfortable, clean clothes.

Role:

13th October, Friday (event preparation)

Please work according to the instructions of the volunteer leader of each department.

Please help us set up indoors and outdoors for a minimum of 6 hours between 8am and 7pm.

14th October, Saturday (Event Day)

We are looking for volunteers who can help with various activities in the rotation. 

Duties include tasks such as:

• Assist in checking valid admission tickets and stamping the hand or arm upon verification. The stamp will be a pass for those who re-enter.

• Check valid passes for entrants at some doors

• Help with event floor management

• Stage assistant

• Cleanup and clearing crew

• Traffic control assistance

• Other miscellaneous activities

Please work according to the instructions of the volunteer leader of each department.

Must be available for at least 6 hours from 8am to 7pm. Please let us know on your application form if you will be unable to work any time within the aforementioned timeframes. Volunteers are assigned shifts to ensure they have plenty of rest and enjoy the event. If you require a break at a specific time, please provide details of this on your application.

- Reference letter from Japan Fiesta NZ Committee Chairperson (for those who wish)
