Recreation of 'Cliff Walk at Pourville'

I created a reproduction of Claude Monet's Cliff Walk at Pourville. I was especially drawn to the way Monet applied colour, particularly the striking contrast in the grass tones.

Monet is one of most favourite artists so I really wanted to bring one of his work to life in my style.

The size of this study is A3 made by oil pastel and it took me about 4-5hr. I really enjoy using the colours in the grass as well as painting the sea and the sky.

The painting is still on the EMH's board so I couldn't include it into my sketchbook.

Octopus Biro Drawing

An experiment that combines blue biro, water colour and graphite. The shape, texture of the octopus' head was captured using detailed biro lines.

This is the original photograph octopus that inspired me to recreate it using my biro drawing skills. The cool textures and details especially on his head really caught my eye so I tried to bring all these beautiful details to life using biro.

Although it is not finished I started off biro drawing a jelly fish on the left side of my paper as well.

LeBron James

Lebron James is one of my all time favourite basketball players. I created a white chalk image of him.

Mum's potrait in biro

Birowork of my mum using a single blue biro pen.

It took me two and half hours to complete this sketch.

'Cezve'

I draw 'cezve' that is a pot that is used to heat and brew Turkish coffee.

I used a black charcole on white A3 paper. I loved working on the highlights and the tones with an eraser on this work.

Graphite drawing of Cristiano Ronaldo

Graphite portrait of my favourite football player Cristiano Ronaldo. It is on A3 paper and it took me about 3hr.

First ever graphite self potrait

This is done on a A3 paper using graphite. It took me about 4 hours to complete. This is still on the EMH board so I couldnt include it into my sketchbook.

Ripped Art of Tools

I really enjoyed working on this ripped art working on the shades and tones. I like taking the challenge trying make the tools look like the ones in the original image.

Oil Pastel of an Anatolian Girl

I always loved experimenting with colours. I got inspired when I saw an award-winning Turkish artist Canan Berber's colourful Anatolian girls figures and wanted to recreate her style using oil pastels.

This work is done on A3 white paper and painted using oil pastel with scratching technique.

Quick Sketch of Lady of Shallot in Tate Britain

This painting by John William Waterhouse particularly captured me because I thought it was very different from all the other artwork in the gallery. I love the way the artist pass through the emotions through her face. She looks quite deep in thoughts. I wanted to do a quick sketch of the work when I was at the gallery.

Reproduction of Skull, Urchins and a Lamb on a Table

I enjoyed reproducing Picasso's Skull, Urchins and a Lamp on a Table in oil pastel. It is painted on A3 white paper.

Experimenting with a soft pastel drawing an Avatar figure

I was looking for a colorful image to experiment with soft pastels so I chose do paint an Avatar character. I really enjoyed applying the soft pastel and blending the colors with a cotton ball.
