Hello families!! My name is Lindsey Ventura and I am thrilled to be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year! It is going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures. I am so excited to see what this year has in store for us! I cannot wait to meet and get to know each and every one of you; but first I will start with telling you a little about myself!

I was born and raised in Jackson, MO! I have one brother and one sister. My brother Robbie is enlisted in the United States Army National Guard. My sister is a lawyer in Chicago, IL. My parents live here in town and we are an extremely close family!

My husband Zach and I just welcomed a precious baby girl to our family last summer. Her name is Hadley Marie. Needless to say we have had a very busy summer with a toddler running around! We feel so blessed to be Hadley’s parents. She is amazing! She loves MOVING around and making people laugh! She has QUITE the personality! We also have 2 fur babies that are extremely crazy, energetic and wonderful dogs. Bella is our baby; she is almost 7 years old! She is a chocolate Labradoodle that LOVES to be the center of attention. She definitely thinks she is a princess! Our other dog Riley is a chocolate Labrador; she just turned 8 years old! Her favorite pastime is swimming and FETCH! She would play all day everyday if we would let her! Needless to say, they are both spoiled ROTTEN! J

My goal in teaching is to ignite students’ passion to learn. I recently received my master’s in technology and I will be implementing technology often throughout the school year. I love how interactive technology is; it helps students become active participants in their learning process. I hope by the end of the year my students are as passionate about learning as I am about teaching! I am so excited to be your teacher this year and for you to be a part of this fantastic class! We are going to have an AWESOME year!!
