It is our distinct privilege to personally invite you to participate in the Patriot Expedition – Senior Trip to Philadelphia, October 13–17, 2026. This trip is sponsored by the John Adams Academy Foundation.
As Saint Augustine of Hippo wisely observed, “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.” It is my hope that you will choose to turn this page alongside your peers through this meaningful and memorable expedition.
This journey represents far more than travel. It is a culminating experience that brings together an exceptional group of scholars, mentors, and academy leaders to reflect upon the history, principles, and enduring ideals that have shaped our nation. This private expedition is hosted through the John Adams Academy Foundation, providing a unique opportunity for our scholars to participate in a meaningful program designed specifically for the Class of 2027.
I encourage you to begin preparing now. Through diligence, initiative, and small sacrifices this summer, you can make this opportunity a reality. This is more than a trip to the East Coast. As George Washington reflected on the sacrifice of his troops at Valley Forge: “To see men without clothes to cover their nakedness, without blankets to lie on, without shoes…without a house or hut to cover them till they could be built, and submitting to it without a murmur, is a mark of patience and obedience which in my opinion can scarce be paralleled.” As you walk where our Founding Fathers lived, struggled, and sacrificed for our liberty, you will gain a deeper appreciation for the blessings we enjoy today.
